Northern Europe June - mid September
Caribbean January - April & Christmas / New Year
Bahamas March - June & Christmas / New Year
South Pacific Islands June - September

In Europe, the Mediterranean offers many chartering areas. For example Croatia, Turkey and the Greek Islands where culture and history is the main interest.
The U.K. is more adventuresome for the experienced sailor!
North America cruising grounds are from New York to Maine, with Newport, Rhode Island
Canada's pristine coast, and Alaska.
October – April
Of course, you think Caribbean, the most popular sailing destination! Well known for it warm weather and beautiful aquamarine water. If you are a first time cruiser, then the Caribbean or the Bahamas may be your best choice. However, if you have already been, then you might want to go to a particular destination such as Australia's Great Barrier Reef, New Zealand's Bay of Islands, Tahiti, and the Seychelles. Note that the Caribbean and Bahamas are also all year-round destination but during the summer keep an eye for hurricanes.
