    Why charter a yacht?

Charter Yachts are different from resorts, Hotels, Villas, Guest Houses and cruise ships. They offer destination variety and flexibility.  They can take you to places that you can't even see from the beach or hotel room and the decks of a cruise ship. Places only accessible by smaller vessels.
A charter yacht cruise means having your own personal guide to help you chart a course to the best vacation ever! Your yacht becomes your own private resort that will take you to the most breathtaking places in the world. We represent yachts that can accommodate almost any budget.

Some yachts can accommodate large groups and entire families. Even yachts that can accommodate your corporate needs.

Each charter is totally customized to you, and can change in mid-stream if you want! Try asking the captain of a cruise ship to visit that little sand bar off in the distance, that isn't on their itinerary! With your own charter yacht, the captain's next words are likely to be, "No Problem".

Most of the yacht in the Caribbean offer the all-inclusive vacations, meaning a lower price when compared to Hotels and Resorts, even the bar is included !

A vacation on a yacht promises to give you and your loved ones or colleagues, memories that will last a lifetime and we can promise one thing for sure.  "You'll be hooked ".

What is The Cost of a Crewed Charter?

The cost of crewed charter varies depending upon the size of vessel, power or sail, the number of people on board and the location and time of year. The duration of a charter is usually a week, but can be any length. It is normal for a yacht to charge a pro-rata fee plus 10% on charters lasting less than 7 nights.

Caribbean Charter offers all Inclusive option. (all food, beverages and water activities are included unless otherwise stated)
Mediterranean charters are not usually all inclusive).

Rates can range from as little as $850 to $4,000+, all-inclusive, per person, per week, based on the type and quality of yacht.

Are there any hidden costs ?
Diving is usually extra but some yachts include it, dockage and guided shore excursions are extra.
Some Charge a Delivery fee if your Destination is out of their Base area.
All vessels offer a wide variety of water sports but will vary depending on equipment. These include snorkeling, Scuba Diving, knee boarding, water-skiing, windsurfing, kayaks, fishing and, of course, sailing. Make sure you ask if you have any special desires.
In the Caribbean, summer season may be less expensive than winter. Summer season is  from May 1st to December 14th. Winter season is December 15th to April 30th. X-mas and New Years usually have an additional fee but not always.  In the Med. peak season, July and August generally carry a premium.

Gratuities are the norm when the service merits it. Remember that your crew work hard to ensure your vacation is a great one. They are your chef, bartender, tour guide, waiter etc and anything between 10% and 20% will be greatly appreciated.

What types of food and drink are served ?

The menus are designed around your food preferences. The chefs are excellent and can usually prepare any dish requested. For all inclusive charter, drinks such as wine, beer and alcohol are part of the package but vintage wines or champagne are usually extra but always available on request. It is practice to provide the yacht with a preference sheet from each person of your party. This will allow the chef to provision and plan your meals exactly the way you and your party expect.
Alcohol and beverages are also normally covered by the preference sheets and you should highlight what you like. There are some occasions when the yachts bar will cost extra. Like when cruising the Grenadines in the summer. This is due to price and availability in these Islands and it is very much acceptable to bring your own onboard.

    Where do we go ?
The itinerary is based on your preferences or special interests. Although we will offer initial advice, the Captain will know the territory very well and will tailor the cruise to fit your requests. The Virgin Islands, The Grenadines (Caribbean) and the Mediterranean, offer a tremendous variety of bays, islands, anchorages and towns to visit. Regardless of where you may travel. It isn't possible to see everything in one visit and you may need to adjust your itinerary to accommodate your schedule and activities that you have chosen or return again in the future for another charter.

    What Should We Bring ?

Firstly, wherever possible (particularly if you are on a yacht under 100'), bring only soft sided luggage since space is limited and storage is easier. For clothing bring casual wear, mostly shorts and t-shirts, and swimsuits. A few of the more formal restaurants require long pants and collared shirts and occasionally a jacket, but "smart casual" is the norm. You can bring your own mask and snorkel if you're inclined, but all yachts carry an assortment of sizes. If you are expecting to scuba dive, check with your broker to make sure of the available equipment on board the yacht. Most yachts carry a wide selection of Tanning lotions and sun blocks, if you bring your own, please do not use oily lotions as it stains the yachts upholstery and teak decks.
