We purchased Turkish Delight in 2011 with a view to revitalising her and establishing a successful charter business in Turkey and the Greek Islands. The ongoing renovations have taken the boat from a standard gulet to a luxury class and her weekly charter revenue is between $14,000 and $18,000 plus expences. We have achieved between 8 and 11 charters per 5 month summer season in the Aegean. She is capable of accomodating 8 passangers and 4 crew. She has two masters ( forward and aft ) and two guests cabins on port and stb towards the aft of the boat. The two crew cabins are forward of the main salon.
Each Cabin benefits from a full queen temperpedic beds and their own en-suite bathrooms. The two masters have a seperate shower.
As the owners and operators of Turkish Delight for 6 years. We would like to invite you to consider both the liveaboard and charter capability of this boat. We have done extended cruising in the Aegean and southern Med and have been comfortable and safe the entire time. The boat is very stable and can take a wave. Her 6 cabin layout with 2 masters offers the owner a lot of options for guests and charter clients. She is also a capable sailing boat and is happy in 25 knots of wind ( downwind ) and 15 knots of wind ( upwind ).
We have sailed her at 9.2 knots ( full sail ) in 14 knots of true wind.
Under Power, She is steady at 7.5 knots and fuel consuption is good. Above this, fuel rate increases and speeds of 9 knots can be reached. We dont treat the engine to long periods of high loads in favour of reliability and economy.
Motor sailing : with the Genoa alone, Off the wind, she will cruise at 8+ knots with the engine in idle n 18 knots of wind.
With the main and Genoa and engine in Idle, she will sail at 7.5 - 8 knots in light breeze.

We have done extensive work on the hull both below and above the water line. There was lots of new wood planks fitted before the seasons launch, followed by a full coating of Mastica, Primer and antifouling. The Keel was sand blasted and finished the same way.
All of the top sides were freshly painted aswell as the gunnels and hand rails. The coachroof is varnished and recieves 1 coat every month throughout the summer.
All of the Stainless steal is in great shape as well as the 2 year old masts and 3 year old Mahogany wrapped pine bowsprit. The stem and stern are in very good condition as is the rudder and prop which was reballanced in 2014.
